St. Pius X Religious Education Program is designed to provide a positive atmosphere in which catechists, working in conjunction with the parents of our students, can teach the basic truths of our religion. We hope, trough the inspiration of Holy Spirit, to find ways to help our children develop a living faith that will be active, and give them a sense of community in our parish. Because faith development is an on-going process, we hope to promote as desire in our students for continuing catechesis throughout their school years and into adulthood. Children participating in the Religious Education Program must be at least four (4) years of age by September 1 and parent(s) or guardian(s) must be registered parishioners. Our Religious Education Program is scheduled on Sundays from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M., grades pre-K through 8th and on Sunday Evenings at 7:00 PM for High School. |
The St. Pius X Athletic Association (CYO) provides the parish youth and their families the opportunity for fellowship through sports activities (baseball, soccer I track, basketball, volleyball). It is our goal to instill good morals, sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and courage in the youth of the Parish so they may be better Christians. This objective is reached by providing supervised competition remembering that the attainment of exceptional athletic skills and winning is secondary; the molding of good Christians and future citizens is of prime importance. |
"TO EMPOWER YOUTH TO LEAD CATHOLIC LIVES" Youth Ministry at St Pius X will seek to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the faith community. We are committed to the church's mission of reaching into the daily lives of our young people and making them aware of the presence of Christ. we are. therefore, teachers, mentors and guides who give these young people direction and support on their faith journey. |
